This 3-weeks program in a 100% francophone environment is made-to-measure for people who use French occasionally or on a regular basis in the course of their work. Our goal is to increase your proficiency and build your confidence.
Taught by native speakers of French, each session allows students to improve their French language skills by targeting specific professional needs and responding to individual work contexts.
Our communicative approach gives students the concrete and practical skills they need to work comfortably and efficiently with their francophone clients or co-workers.This program is intended mainly for groups already in existence (or groups in formation) within the Canadian federal public service or a provincial public service. Individuals wanting to join in an existing group can inquire for the availability. The length of our training sessions can vary according to the needs of students and participating government departments and institutions. For the most part, classes take place in Trois-Pistoles and the Lower Saint Lawrence region. This is also where students are housed during their learning stay.Cost will vary according to length and content of each session.Participants who have met all program requirements will receive a certificate attesting to the successful completion of the course. In certain cases, course credits may be applied to the Continuing Education Program at the Université du Québec à Rimouski. Please contact us to find out when this program will be offered, possible prerequisites, cost, and anything else you wish to know.In our classes, students are exposed to concrete communicative instances that take place entirely in French and refer directly to the professional contexts of participants.
